Soya Capsicum Masala
- Soya Chunks - 1 1/2 Cups
- Capsicum - 1 Nos
- Onion cut lengthwise - 2 Nos
- Ginger- Garlic Paste - 2 tbsp
- Tomatoes- 3 No
- Turmeric Powder- 1/4 tsp
- Coriander Powder-1 1/2 tbsp
- Pepper Powder-1 tsp
- Garam Masala Powder-1 tsp
- Salt as required
- Oil as required
- Coriander Leaves for garnishing.
How to Cook:
- Soak the soyachunks for minimum 3 hours.After 3 hours , drain the soyachunks, cut each soya chunk into 4 pieces.Keep this aside.
- Heat Oil in the pan , add ginger -garlic paste and saute onions till they turn translucent.
- Add turmeric powder, garam masala (1/2tsp), pepper powder,coriander powder and saute till the raw smell of masala leaves.
- Add the soya chunks, salt and saute for 5 minutes.
- Add tomatoes and capsicum and saute for 5 minutes .
- Add 1 cup water ,close the pan and cook on low flame till the capsicum and tomatoes are cooked.
- Open the pan, add 1/2 tsp garam masala and saute for 5 minutes minimum till you get a dry form .
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
