Ingredients
- Kadala( Black Chana ) - 1 glass
- Onion- 4 No
- Red Chilly- 2 No
- Mustard-1 tsp
- Green Chilly - 1 No
- Turmeric powder- 1 tsp
- Coriander Powder- 3 tsp
- Garam Masala- 1 tsp
- Curry leaves
- Salt
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Soak the chana overnight .
- Cook the chana in the cooker to 8 whistle or more if required to get it fully cooked.Keep this aside.
- Add oil to the pan , when it is hot , add the mustard , redchilly and when it splutter , add the onions, ginger , green chilly.
- Saute the onions till they turn brown in colour.
- Add the masalas and saute for 3 minutes.
- Now add the cooked chana , 1 Cup water , salt , turmeric powder .Bring to boil.
- Close the pan and cook for 10 minutes.Make sure the gravy start to thicken.
- Garnsih with curry leaves.
