Ingredients:
- Bonesless fish pieces- 8 pieces
- Onions - 2 Nos ( one cut into square pieces and one cut lengthwise for frying )
- Capsicum- 1/2 of a capsicum cut into square pieces
- Ginger cut into cubes - 1 tbsp
- Garlic pods cut into cubes- 1 tsp
- Green Chilly chopped- 1 No
- Garam Masala- 1 tbsp
- Tomato pureed- 1 No
- Oil - 2 tbsp and oil for frying
- Kashmiri Chilly - 1 tsp
- Turmeric Powder- 1/2 tsp
- Ginger Garlic paste- 1 tbsp
- Chilly powder- 1 tsp
- Vinegar- 1 tsp
- Cornflour- 1 tbsp
- Salt as required.
How to Cook
- Marinate the fish with the required ingredients as mentioned above. Keep aside for half and hour.
- Fry the fish pieces till it is almost done.
- Add oil to the pan and fry the onions , keep this aside.
- Heat the pan , add 1 tbsp oil , when it is hot , add the onions , ginger pieces, garlic pieces , green chilly chopped and saute the onions till it is brown in colour.
- Add capsicum and fry the capsicum
- Add the garam masala and kashmiri chilly powder , fry it for 2 minutes.
- Add the tomato puree and cook it till the oil start to leave the side of the pan.
- Add the fried fish pieces with 1/4 cup water and close the pan .
- Cook till the gravy start to thicken.
- Add salt if required.
- Garnish with curry leaves and fried onions.
