This is a variety recipe.This chicken is made with orange juice. The flavour of orange gives a different taste to the chicken.

- Chicken - 1/2 kg
- Onion - 2 No cut into square size
- Carrots cut lengthwise- 1/2 Cup
- Beans cut lengthwise- 1/2 Cup
- Capsicum chopped - 1Cup
- Ginger cut into small pieces- 1 tbsp
- Garlic cut into small pieces- 1 tsp
- Turmeric Powder- 1/2 tsp
- Soya Sauce- 2 tsp
- Red Chilly Whole crushed- 6 Nos.
- Orange - 2 Nos to make juice
- Oil - as required
- Butter - 1 tsp
- Salt - as required
- Coriander Leaves for garnishing
- Pepper powder - 1 tbsp for marination
- Sugar - 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder- 1 tsp for marintion
How to Cook
- Clean the chicken well.
- Cut the chicken into small square pieces.
- Marinate the chicken with pepper , salt and turmeric powder for 1 hour.
- Make juice out of the 2 oranges and strain the juice. Mix the juice with sugar.
- Pour oil to the pan and when it is hot stir fry the chicken pieces . Make sure the chicken is not fully cooked.Keep this aside.
- Pour 1 tbsp butter to the pan , add the crushed chilly , saute for 1 minute.
- Now add the ginger and garlic chopped . Saute for a minute.
- Add 1 tbsp oil to the mixture and when it is hot, saute the onions till translucent.
- Transfer the carrots, beans , capsicum to the cooked onion with required salt and turmeric powder. Stir fry the vegetables for 5 minutes.
- Close the pan, and cook the vegetables for sometime.
- When the vegetables are done , add the half cooked chicken ,soya sauce and saute for 2 minutes.
- Now add the orange juice mixed with sugar along with 1 Cup water . Close the pan and cook till the chicken is soft.
- Add salt if required .
- Add chopped coriander .
