Beetroot Mezhukkuvarati




Ingredients

  1. Beetroot- 1 No
  2. Mustard Seeds- 1 tsp
  3. Red Chilly - 2 Nos
  4. Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
  5. Pepper powder- 1 tsp
  6. Salt - as required
  7. Oil - as required
  8. Curry Leaves - as required
How To Cook :
  1. Cut the beetroot into thin cubes.
  2. Add oil to the pan , splutter mustard seeds and red chilly.
  3. Add the beetroot cubes, turmeric powder, salt , pepper powder .
  4. Close the pan and cook for sometime ( around 10 minutes ).
  5. Open the pan, add curry leaves  and stir fry for 2 minutes.
  6. Serve with hot rice.
