Pan Pizza ( Type 1 )



Why would you go to a Pizzahut when you can cook your own pizza ????We can cook pizza in a proper non stick pan too.  Making Pizza at home is more healthy  as i add a lot of vegetables in it and limit  the quantity of cheese in the pizza. Be careful to prepare the dough 2 hours before  we plan to cook our home made pan pizza...


             
   

Ingredients  for dough
  1. Maida Flour - 3 1/2 Cup
  2. Water  - as required to make the dough non sticky. 
  3. Yeast  -1 and 1/2 tbsp
  4. Salt - a pinch
  5. Sugar - 1/2 tbsp
  6. Oil  - 1 tsp
  7. Butter - 1 tbsp
   Ingredients for Pizza 
  1. Cheese ( we may get pizza cheese) or mozzarella.
  2. Vegetables (Tomatos, Onions , Olives,Capsicum, Corn ,Paneer pieces, mushroom ) - 1 cup
  3. Pizza seasoning powder. ( we get it from store)
   Ingredients for Pizza Sauce


  1. Tomato Sauce  - 8 tbsp
  2. Ginger-Garlic Paste- 1 tbsp
  3. Pizza seasonings - 1 tsp
    How To Cook
  1. Prepare yeast by mixing  it well with 1 1/2 cup of luke warm water.  And wait till the bubbles start to appear. ( it may take some time , it took around 20 minutes  for us . It depends on quality of yeast ). 
  2. Take the flour  to a bowl  and mix it with  yeast, required salt and knead the dough till it becomes soft. Go on kneading the dough until the dough becomes non sticky .Also if you find the dough sticky add more flour and make it non sticky.Please refer picture 1 below to see the prepared dough.


  3. Make the dough in round shape and make 2 cross cuttings  (as shown in picture 2 above) to give space for the  dough to expand.  
  4. Keep the dough in a bowl and close the bowl with a clean kitchen towel . Keep it closed  for about 2 hours.
  5. In this time the dough may expand .( Refer picture 3 above to see the dough after expansion ) 
  6. Take the pan and grease the bottom of the pan with butter .Place the dough over it .
  7. Press the dough to the bottom of the pan with your hands until it fills the base of the pan. 
  8. Mix the ingredients for pizza sauce.
  9. Grease the top of the dough with the sauce. Then spread the mozzarella cheese or grate the cheese over the dough.
  10. Mix the vegetables with required salt and pizza seasonings.
  11. Then spread the vegetables over the cheese. Then add one more layer of cheese. (Vegetables should be sandwiched between the cheese layers).The vegetables i added  were paneer, tomato, onion , olives.
  12.  Now place the pan in lowflame for 15 mins with the lid closed .YOUR YUMMY PIZZA WILL BE READY WHEN U OPEN THE LID.

TIPS : After the cheese gets  cooked ,the cheese gets melted and the quantity will be  more in pizza. So accordingly be careful of how much cheese u add

Adding more cheese adds taste to the pizza. The amount of vegetables you add also can vary depending on your likes.
