Kappa Puzhukke ( Tapioca Curry )




                           
       Ingredients
  1. Tapioca  1 Kg
  2. Onion Shallots  ( Small Onion ) -  10 Nos ( 7 for grinding )
  3. Grated Coconut  -  1 cup
  4. Green Chilly – 2 or 3 Nos
  5. Curry Leaves
  6. Oil as required
  7. Garlic ( Optional)
  8. Salt as required
       How to Cook
  1. Grind coconut , green chilly ,onion shallots  and keep it aside.
  2. Pressure cook the tapioca with salt and turmeric powder and keep it aside.
  3. Add oil in a pan and sauté the rest of the onions and when the colour starts  changing ( make sure it doesn ’t turn brownish ) , add the grinded paste into it and sauté for a minute.
  4. Smash the cooked tapioca and add it to the mixture along with curry leaves.
  5. Make sure to add salt according to the taste.
  6. Season with curry leaves . 
You can have this  as a snack or for dinner with chammandi. 
Note:  Adding garlic pods to this while making it a paste in mixi is good for digestion.
